When you submit a business website or use MachineUp to research a business, the service may collect and process publicly available business information from the submitted website and other public sources. MachineUp may also generate structured facts, confidence signals, qualification observations, scan results, testing results, and related service data.
3. Usage and technical information
We may collect basic technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, improve, and measure the service, such as browser or device information, pages viewed, timestamps, error logs, and interactions with scans and account features.
4. Payments
If paid features are enabled and you make a purchase, payment information will be processed by a third-party payment processor. MachineUp does not need to store your full payment-card number.
5. How we use information
We use information to provide scans and profiles, verify and maintain business facts, operate accounts, publish machine-readable business information at your direction, respond to support requests, improve product quality, prevent abuse, measure service performance, and communicate important service or account information.
6. Public profiles and published business facts
MachineUp is designed to make approved business information easier for search systems, agents, bots, and buyers to understand. Information you approve for publication may therefore be made publicly accessible and machine-readable. Do not approve information for publication that you do not want publicly available.
7. Service providers
We may use service providers for hosting, databases, search, AI processing, analytics, email delivery, payments, security, and related infrastructure. They may process information only as needed to provide those services to MachineUp.
8. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

You may contact MachineUp to ask about personal information associated with your account or contact submission, or to request correction or deletion where applicable. Published business information may also be updated through available verification and account tools.
