What am I getting?
MachineUp organizes your verified business facts using our proprietary industry mapping, then publishes and hosts a machine-readable layer connected to your business. It includes relevant capabilities, requirements and job-fit details for AI search systems, agents and bots to evaluate.
What does industry mapping add?
A broad category such as “machine shop” is only a starting point. Our mapping identifies relevant details such as materials, processes, part sizes, tolerances and production volume. We organize supported answers and ask you to confirm missing facts. Our mapping is proprietary; we do not claim exclusive access to your business facts.
Does it change my website? What if I have no website?
No website rebuild or code installation is required. MachineUp hosts a separate profile and structured outputs linked to your website and contact information. If you have no website, start with a Facebook page, Google Business listing or another credible public business page.
Is the layer visible only to AI?
It works behind the scenes without changing the appearance of your website, but it is not secret. People can also view your public MachineUp profile and inspect its structured information.
How is this different from SEO or adding schema?
SEO helps people and search systems find your pages. Schema is a format for structured information that you or a web developer can add. MachineUp combines industry mapping, owner-verified facts, hosted publishing, monitoring and qualification testing as an ongoing service.
Getting started
Can I scan a competitor for free?
Yes. Enter a competitor’s website or public business page. The scan reviews accessible public information, with no account or credit card required. Only a verified owner can claim or change a business profile.
What happens after my free scan?
The report shows supported facts and qualification gaps. To build your maintained layer, claim your business, verify ownership and activate the subscription. Confirm the facts with structured choices, and we publish your machine layer. No payment is taken during the free scan.
Which businesses is MachineUp for?
Machine shops, small manufacturers, fabricators, contractors, specialty trades and local service businesses. Each subscription supports one business profile.
What if my scan already has a high score?
A strong public score is a useful starting point. MachineUp still adds owner confirmation, a hosted machine layer, testing and ongoing maintenance. A high readiness score does not guarantee an AI recommendation, and we do not invent gaps to justify a subscription.

Why do I keep paying monthly?
Your subscription keeps your machine layer hosted, tested and maintained. We combine buyer-scenario checks against your machine layer with selected live AI-search tests. When we find a gap, we correct what verified facts support, retest the changes and alert you to meaningful findings. We ask you to confirm missing or changed business details. Your dashboard distinguishes machine-layer checks from live tests and shows what actually ran.
What is the price, and can I cancel?
$19.99/month for a limited time, for one business. Lock in this price while your subscription remains active. No setup fee or long-term contract.
Cancel through your secure billing portal. Your paid service continues through the current billing period. When the subscription ends, the MachineUp-hosted public profile and JSON/API output become unavailable, paid editing and publishing are locked, and routine maintenance stops. Your own website is unaffected. Outside search systems may retain information they already retrieved.
What does AI testing prove?
A controlled buyer-style test records which platform/model ran, when it ran, whether the business was found and whether the available facts supported correct qualification. It is not a real customer inquiry or a guarantee of future recommendations. Platform coverage is shown only for tests actually run. RFQ diagnostics do not submit real requests or contact businesses.
